The current sensors of the CS-XX series are based on a hinged ferrite ring with a Hall sensor. If a current-carrying conductor is brought into the ferrite ring, the current strength can be determined via the sensor.
The current sensors are the ideal complement to our data acquisition modules of the XXCH-DAS series when currents are to be measured. The folding mechanism integrated in the robust aluminium housing ensures safe and easy installation of the sensor in everyday measurement.
